Grow and Play – Summer 2019
Helping caregivers develop skills and strategies to support multi-sensory development
For caregivers and infants ages 0-6 months
In this group, parents/caregivers will accompany their infants and participate in activities to promote positive development. Early development provides a foundation for achievement of motor, self-regulation and social milestones later on. Parents will learn information related to early development, stress and readiness signs, positioning and play. Sessions will also include time for hands-on practice implementing learned strategies, such as tummy time, multi-sensory play and infant massage. Grow and Play offers a fun and interactive opportunity to strengthen the bond between parent/caregiver and child.. The group is led by two occupational therapists.
