Geared to students in preK thru First grade, Writing For Fun meets on Thursday afternoons. Engaging activities are used to build on a child’s current drawing and writing abilities and then advance their skills. The session is an hour and fifteen minutes, giving us time to incorporate a movement experience in the OT gym as part of this program. At Emerge we use the Handwriting Without Tears program, unless a child is using a different program at their school (which we will then support in sessions).
